We would like to inform you that SafariOffice is temporarily offline as we implement an important security update.
A critical security vulnerability has been identified in PHP, a technology used by millions of websites and online platforms worldwide. This is a global security issue and is not specific to SafariOffice. Although we run the latest versions, a patch is still needed.
The official security fix is being released today. As a precaution, we have decided to temporarily take SafariOffice offline until the update has been installed and thoroughly tested.
Our priority is to protect your data and your clients' information. We believe taking this precaution is the most responsible approach while the security issue is being addressed.
While SafariOffice is temporarily offline:
You will not be able to access the SafariOffice platform.
Shared digital links, including Digital Itineraries and Co-branded Digital Pages, will be temporarily unavailable.
Clients who have already received PDF copies of their itineraries can continue referring to those documents in their email inboxes.
If you have clients who may be trying to access their digital itineraries, we recommend informing them about the temporary interruption and directing them to their PDF copies in the meantime.
Because this vulnerability affects PHP technology used by many websites and software platforms, we also encourage you to check with your website developer, hosting provider, or other software providers to confirm whether any of your systems are affected and whether security updates are required.
We also recommend keeping an eye on official security updates and relevant news.
Government agencies, universities and companies around the world have taken the same precaution today, including:
Netherlands: DigiD, the House of Representatives and the National Cyber Security Centre
Finland: public web services of the state administration
Austria: government agencies and universities
Germany: University of Freiburg and different companies
Belgium: media group DPG Media
Japan: several major online platforms
European and UK cybersecurity authorities have advised organisations to consider taking systems offline until the fix is installed, and a PHP core developer has called this the most sensible option.

Our team is working to implement and test the security fix as soon as it becomes available.
SafariOffice will remain offline until we are satisfied that the necessary security measures have been implemented and verified.
We will notify you as soon as the platform is back online.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this temporary interruption may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.
Thank you for your continued trust in SafariOffice.
